Bristol team smashes their charity goal! 🌟 A massive well done to our Bristol office for reaching their 2024 charity target and raising an impressive £2,551 for Avon Needs Trees! 💚 To celebrate, the team swapped laptops for digging tools and headed out for a tree-planting day. Despite the mud and stormy weather, they worked together to plant an entire hedgerow—learning everything from soaking roots to protecting saplings. Their efforts are helping to support sustainable land management and boost biodiversity! A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Bristol team’s fundraising efforts this year—you’ve helped make a difference for an amazing cause. Happy FIVE year work anniversary to Charles Orr, Divisional Manager, Head of Sustainable Aviation, Hydrogen, and Clean Fuels. We caught up with the Head of LHi Bristol, Tom Clarke who said “Charles Orr was employee number three in Piper Maddox Europe and this month he celebrates his 5th anniversary with the group. In that time, he’s played a pivotal role in growing our European business to 45 heads. Purely from a culture contribution, Charles has been indispensable. Somehow both playing an elder statesman role and chief pub officer. Although the birth of his first child earlier this year has curtailed that latter role (slightly). Our teams at Piper Maddox cover some of the most interesting new technologies around. Charles has built a business unit in arguably the most exciting of that, future aviation, supporting electric and hydrogen flight programs. His client list is immense, winning and supporting the biggest names around including Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Lilium (come on), GKN Aerospace and Volocopter. There are loads more, sorry if I haven’t mentioned you! From this week Charles takes the mantle of top all-time Bristol biller, which is pretty decent work given the craziness of his sector and the competition that he has internally. A massive congratulations to Jordan Fitzpatrick for celebrating SIX years at Lawrence Harvey 👨💻 We caught up with Senior Director and Head of LHi New York, Kevin Cooley and he said “Jordan originally joined in 2018 to build out the Cyber Security division, quickly developing a Privacy (and Legal) team, before further branching off into HPC, Industry 4.0 and other emerging technology markets. What impresses me the most is the amount of team names Jordan has come up with to compliment all the new markets. Jordan is a great leader who works tirelessly for his team every day and is always thinking of ways his team can make improvements to help them achieve their goals. Jordan has played a huge role in the growth of LH since joining, consistently getting his team performing to a high level, hitting lunch clubs and incentive trips along the way.
