About us

JKS Restaurants was founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi in November 2008, receiving critical acclaim and industry recognition since its inception, which currently includes 7 Michelin stars and 3 Michelin Bib Gourmands. We currently operate 27 restaurants, 3 pubs and 1 bar in London, as well as across the Middle East. Our philosophy is based on an attitude of restless innovation, boundary-pushing and spontaneity. Our goal is to foster a culture of culinary obsession, genuine hospitality, entrepreneurial spirit and family values across the group.

  • December 13th, an evening for Valencia, curated by Nieves Barragan and Sabor London. In collaboration with Quique Dacosta and Arros QD, this evening will bring together an incredible line-up of chefs for a star-studded dinner and a luxurious live auction, with a special introduction from the one and only Stanley Tucci. The seven-course menu will feature dishes from: Nieves Barragán Mohacho Angela Hartnett Hélène Darroze Robin Gill Ashley Palmer-Watts Aleixandre Sarrion Eduardo Idrobo All proceeds go to the Desde Valencia, Para Valencia initiative.     We’re proud to announce that Christina Nuval, CA, Finance Director at JKS Restaurants, and Xiao Yi Qiu, Restaurant Manager at Sabor London, have been included in CODE Hospitality’s 30 Under 30. Originally from Auckland, Christina joined JKS in June 2021 as Group Financial Reporting Manager. She quickly progressed to Head of Accounting and Reporting, and then to Financial Controller, where she managed a team of 20 overseeing various finance functions. Her commitment to excellence and ability to navigate complex financial operations has made her an invaluable asset, and rapid rise - now to Senior Management level - at JKS has demonstrated her exceptional talent and drive. Xiao Yi, described as a ‘true professional’ by Nieves Barragan, started his career in the kitchen, before moving into a FOH position. His attentive and flawless service has provided an excellent example for training others in the Sabor team, in which he is an integral part. The award is a testament to his outstanding contribution, as a leader and mentor to many.

  • We’re delighted to have attended Be Inclusive Hospitality’s annual Spotlight awards a few weeks ago. Founded by Lorraine Copes, the awards go some way to champion the diversity of the UK’s hospitality scene, and we are pleased to have been part of the celebrations. Over the past few months, we're also proud to have partnered with Lorraine to kickstart our EDI journey; formulating our policy and looking at the importance of EDI to JKS. We are keen to ensure that JKS is a welcoming and inclusive place to work — for all team members, guests, partners, and stakeholders. Being challenged on the way we do things, and considering as many viewpoints as possible, has driven our hugely beneficial partnership. By implementing this EDI policy, we aim to create a workplace and dining experience that inspires creativity and fosters collaboration across all backgrounds, abilities and personal characteristics. For us, a successful EDI policy is more than just words on paper. It requires genuine commitment and action from everyone at JKS. We acknowledge that we are at the beginning of this journey, and constantly learning from those around us. Lorraine’s guidance and advice has been crucial in ensuring that this is an educational piece for our team, at all levels. We have now begun with 2 training sessions for our senior team, with other awareness sessions continuing over the coming months.

    We’re delighted to announce that JKS Restaurants and Dominic Jacobs were awarded ‘Food-Led Pub Group of the Year’ at Monday's R200 Awards 2024, hosted at Hawksmoor Canary Wharf. Our group recently expanded to three pubs with the successful launch of The Hound Chiswick this July, sitting alongside The George Public House in Fitzrovia and The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea.   • At its heart, Diwali is an annual festival of light celebrating the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
