Our Christmas Gift To Bristol and The South West!! Last week, I met with Clive Setter from HeartSafe® AED Locator. We have been helping Clive to market their public access bleed kits alongside being a member of the Bleed Kit Partnership. Clive had mentioned to us that Avon and Somerset Police were looking for funding to purchase bleed kit attachments to allow 20 bleed kits across Bristol city centre before Christmas. As soon as he mentioned it, I knew we needed to help. Bristol is a city close to my heart, as I was born and raised there. It is also why we have funded these kits alongside our £1,000 donation to a charity we do yearly at We Do Your Group Limited. This further helps our mission to help people in the South West. After attending BNI Compton - Bristol this morning, I was fortunate to see 3 of the 11 installed yesterday by walking down Park Street and beyond Pero's Bridge. It's amazing to see how many people travel through this area in the morning as well! We have also now seen Savills providing 20 of these conversion kits, allowing 40 to be placed on lamp posts across the Avon and Somerset region. The bleed kits themselves were funded by the Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commissioner and designated for key hotspots across the Constabulary area. Additional thanks should go to Bristol City Council for permission to use their lampposts. I've attached photos showing the new 11 sites completed yesterday, with more to follow. The latest sites are: - Lamppost outside 106 Whiteladies road junction Kings parade mews - Lamppost Outside 51 Whiteladies Road junction with West Park - Lamppost Outside 73 Park Street junction with Charlotte Street - Lamppost overlooking the roundabout on Saint George's Road - Lamppost opposite Costa Coffee, 30 College Green, (college green side of the road) - Lamppost outside Welcome Studios Hair, 44 College Green - Lamppost opposite 92 Stapleton Road, junction with Clifton Place - Peros Bridge, fixed onto a lamppost opposite Society Café at the start of the bridge -Lamppost outside Café Nero 84, Queen's Road, -Lamppost at the entrance to Esso petrol station, Park Row - Lamppost at the entrance to Castle Park from Castle Street As always, check out the interactive map we have created to see where your nearest kit is located https://lnkd.in/es4fYSXg A big thanks also goes to Mike Vass, who works tirelessly to make Avon and Somerset safer.
