🎉 New Partnership Announcement! 🎉 We are thrilled to welcome Ipswich Town Foundation and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board as our newest partners in delivering the Advantage Talking Tactics Programme! Together, we’re creating a stronger support network for young people within the community reach of Ipswich Town Foundation by providing one-to-one mentoring for 15-21-year-olds with mild to moderate mental health challenges. In partnership with Ipswich Town Foundation and Suffolk and North East Essex ICB, the programme will offer: ✅Inspired & Unique Delivery: Delivery is within the football clubs' facilities where young people feel comfortable by Ipswich Town Foundation mentors who are representative of their local community and understand its needs. ✅ Mentoring & Connection: Relationally informed mentoring to help young people rebuild self-esteem, reconnect with their community and aspire for the future. ✅ Goal Achievement: Support in setting and reaching self-directed goals, fostering skills for lifelong success. ✅ Wellbeing Focus: Enhancing physical and emotional wellbeing through trusted relationships and tailored activities, emphasising education, employment, and health. ✅ Sustainability & Learning: Evaluating the impact rigorously to establish a scalable and sustainable model for community-based mental health support. As with all Advantage Mentoring programmes, working with professional club community organisations has proven effective in tackling inequality by increasing access to services and improving participants' experiences and outcomes through preventative mental health support. “We’re very excited to be announcing this partnership between Ipswich Town Foundation and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board in delivering our Talking Tactics programme. With this partnership, we can provide some support and solutions to reduce the stigma of gaining mental health support for young people - something we’re all very proud to be a part of!” - Konrad Deckers Dowber, Managing Director Advantage Mentoring “The initiative allows us to provide support to an area of the community that our provision doesn’t currently reach, with access to mental health support for underserved children - a prevalent issue in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. Our mentors and staff look forward to working with young people across the community to support them as they nurture their mental well-being and continue their personal growth. We are excited about the partnership between the Foundation, the ICB, and Advantage, and hope we can work together to produce positive change across Suffolk.” - Leanne Smith, Health & Inclusion Manager, Ipswich Town Foundation To find out more, please visit: https://lnkd.in/eqq4Nb4T. #advantagementoring #ipswichtownfoundation #nhs #suffolkandnortheastessex #partnership #mentalhealth #talkingtactics
