The alliance with OpenAI is a step on our digital transformation journey, and the integration of ChatGPT Enterprise is a fundamental reimagining of how we work and bring value to customers, partners and society. If OpenAI’s technology improves customer support, we’ll use it. If it enhances driver experience or makes transport efficient through better charging and smarter route planning, we’ll apply it. We’ve been refining efficiency for decades, and these new tools will continue to improve what we do best. Our goal is not to follow trends but to lead meaningful change that enhances our products and operations. “By making AI tools available to everyone in our company, we’re helping our employees work smarter and more efficiently. As the year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on 2024 and look ahead to 2025. This year was a huge year for Zoox. We continued to scale the company. We completed upgrades to our robotaxi, fine-tuning it in readiness for larger-scale manufacturing and our first public riders next year. 2024 was also the year we deployed our robotaxi on the Strip in Las Vegas, as well as in downtown San Francisco, CA. This milestone was huge not just for our company, but for the entire AV industry. It marked the first time in history that a purpose-built robotaxi was deployed fully autonomously in these two locations. We also deployed our test fleet in Austin and Miami. It’s hard to express how excited I am for 2025 and finally welcoming our first riders on public roads in Las Vegas and San Francisco. Like everything we do at Zoox, this will be a strategic and thoughtful rollout and take place through an early rider program. These select individuals will be allowed to take unpaid rides and in turn, provide us with invaluable feedback as we fine-tune our service. We will also continue to offer unpaid rides to our full-time crew and their friends and families across all locations. Zoox does not compromise on safety. We are committed to taking the time to lay a safe and scalable foundation for our robotaxi service. This “crawl, walk, run” approach may not be the most exciting, but it is the approach we are committed to in order to ensure that when we launch, we have taken the steps to provide a safe, scalable, and enjoyable experience. Not just for our riders, but for the entire communities we are deployed in. I want to take this moment and opportunity to thank everyone at Zoox who has committed to being on this journey over the last 10+ years. Thank you for choosing Zoox. We still have a lot of work to do, but this team has demonstrated time and time again that they have what it takes to make the impossible possible.
