Looking back at 2024 with WomenWiseData, a community founded by our very own Kalina Tomova. What a year it’s been! WomenWiseData started as an idea to create a space where women in tech and data could connect, share, and thrive. Fast forward to now, and it’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown together in just 12 months. Here are some highlights from 2024: ✨ We hosted 5 amazing events, bringing together 165 brilliant people to share ideas, stories, and support. 🎤 11 incredible C-Suite speakers shared their journeys with honesty and courage. 👏 Our first-ever allyship event, welcoming male technology leaders to the conversation, sparked some much-needed dialogue. 🌱 We launched WomenWiseMentoring in April—and two mentees secured new opportunities thanks to their mentors. And the feedback? Honestly, it’s why we do this: 💬 “I was impressed with the openness & authenticity of the speakers. Some of their stories were hard to hear, but it’s so important they are shared.” 💬 “Hearing how careers often take non-linear paths really resonated with me. The suggestion to diversify experiences and skillsets was such a valuable takeaway.” So, what’s next? Let’s just say 2025 is looking very exciting! 🚀 A bigger and better WomenWiseMentoring program (round 2, here we come!). 🌍 Expanding our reach beyond the UK and creating more opportunities to connect globally. 🎙 New ways to engage—think blogs, podcasts, and accessible content to keep the conversation alive. 🤝 Even more partnerships, tech conferences, and networking events.
