CIVIL ENGINEERING APPRENTICESHIP DEGREE OPPORTUNITY Lincolnshire County Council are teaming up with the University of Lincoln to assess the possibility of the University delivering a Level 6 Civil Engineering apprenticeship degree programme, taking apprenticeship students from a range of local employers. It is early days, but in order to help build a business case for this they are asking for ambassadors help to gauge the potential level of interest. The apprenticeship expects learners to have 20% off the job training, which includes day release to do the degree course, which can be funded from the employer’s apprenticeship levy or, for smaller employers, largely through government assistance.
