🌍 Today is UHC Day 2024: Let’s celebrate progress and advocate for more! Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day marks a powerful moment to celebrate our progress toward health for all. But it’s also a reminder of how much more we must do. 💪 Investing in UHC enhances equity, promotes social cohesion, and strengthens economies. Better health outcomes, increased workforce participation, and stronger community resilience—are the results of making health accessible to everyone. But the gap remains large: ▪️ 4.5 billion people still lack access to essential health services. ▪️ 2 billion people face financial hardship from healthcare costs, and 1.3 billion are pushed into poverty. This must change! On this UHC Day, let's call on governments to invest in UHC and protect the most vulnerable from impoverishing health spending. How You Can Get Involved: 1️⃣ Write to Decision-Makers: Advocate for UHC by sending a letter to decision-makers. 2️⃣ Create & Share Your Quote Card: What does UHC mean to you?
