🚀 Launching the Future of Aid 2040: Pathways to Transformation! 🚀 We're excited to announce the start of our new project, Future of Aid 2040: Pathways to Transformation, a two-year exploration into the future of humanitarian aid led by IARAN and Centre for Humanitarian Leadership. Building on the widely influential Future of Aid: INGOs in 2030 report, this initiative aims to provide updated insights on humanitarian trends and guide sector transformation. Insights from this study are set for release in 2025. 🌍 What’s new? Since the publication of the last report there have been several significant upheavals which have challenged humanitarian organizations – the COVID pandemic and its long-lasting economic implications, the outbreak of conflicts in Ukraine, Sudan and Gaza as well as the increasing impacts of climate change to name a few. Our 2040 study will examine how these events as well as critical shifts over the coming 15 years will change our operating environment. We will also consider how drivers within the humanitarian ecosystem could change how we work, including: • The incentive system operating on humanitarian actors • The push for decolonizing aid and promoting local leadership • Challenges to the traditional economic model of humanitarian aid. 🎯 Goals and impact this project will deliver: • 2040 exploratory #foresight scenarios for strategic planning • A transformation toolkit for humanitarian organizations to achieve impact 🤝 Join us from Day One! We’re inviting the sector to join us on this journey. Key activities in which we’ll seek your insights include: • Worldview & Drivers Survey – Exploring sector myths, barriers, and worldviews • Design Fiction Survey – Co-creating anticipatory, locally-led responses for the future ❗ Visit our dedicated web page and featured blog post with all our Steering Committee signatory names: 1️⃣ Dedicated webpage: https://lnkd.in/gZ7PRAF 2️⃣ Blog post: https://lnkd.in/gnFqdV7F Stay tuned on LinkedIn, Twitter, and our websites for updates as we build the future of humanitarian aid, together. 🌐✨ For further information, please email [email protected]. #FutureofAid #FutureofAid2040 #FoA2040 #Pathways2Transformation

IARAN, in collaborazione con Centre for Humanitarian Leadership ha lanciato il nuovo progetto Future of Aid 2040: Pathways to Transformation, dando seguito al precedente (e influente) Future of Aid 2030: INGOs in 2030. Colleghe e colleghi, seguiteci e partecipate: ❗ Visit our dedicated web page and featured blog post with all our Steering Committee signatory names: 1️⃣ Dedicated webpage: https://lnkd.in/gZ7PRAF 2️⃣ Blog post: https://lnkd.in/gnFqdV7F Stay tuned on LinkedIn, Twitter, and our websites for updates as we build the future of humanitarian aid, together. 🌐✨ For further information, please email [email protected]. hashtag#FutureofAid hashtag#FutureofAid2040 hashtag#FoA2040 hashtag#Pathways2Transformation
