The rules of engagement are changing for premium spirits brands. While celebrity endorsements have become a bit of an industry standard, today’s consumers are looking for something more: authenticity, shared experiences, and deeper cultural connections. We spoke to some of our favourite people (Craig Knox, April Jackson & Stuart Holmes) about how brands can be culturally relevant, even when you don't have that celebrity sparkle budget. https://lnkd.in/e27YBE3A #impossibletoignore #businessforgood #culturalrelevance

What does it take for a premium spirit brand to thrive in today’s competitive landscape? Consumers are savvier than ever, demanding authenticity, quality, and experiences that feel personal. Craig Knox put it simply: “We’re entering our era of experience culture.” Meanwhile Valerie M. highlighted that, “Consumers do their research – brands need to stay relevant and innovative.” The premium market isn’t just growing; it’s evolving. Find out how brands are redefining aspiration and connection over at our website. https://lnkd.in/eG_dgWjs #impossibletoignore #businessforgood #causeastir

The premium spirits market is evolving at pace. With projected growth to $400 billion globally by 2030, brands are navigating fierce competition and new consumer expectations. But what defines a premium brand today? How do you stand out without relying on celebrity endorsements? This was one of the topics of discussion at our recent Premium Dilemma webinar, and we'll be sharing outtakes and thoughts that can help your brand become #impossibletoignore. Find out how today’s premium brands are redefining aspiration and cultural connection over at our website: https://lnkd.in/d6fcv29a Huge huge thanks to our panellists, Craig Knox, Valerie M., April Jackson, Stuart Holmes, for sharing their time and expertise!

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of a panel discussion around the Premium Spirits dilemma and the challenges and opportunities for brands of all sizes in a crowded but thriving sector. April Jackson, as a restaurateur and entrepreneur, brought powerful insights from her on-trade experience, particularly in light of what it means to cut through as an independent brand. She was joined by Craig Knox, Stuart Holmes, Valerie M., and Charlie Fiala in a discussion facilitated and expertly moderated by our Senior Creative Strategist, Anastasia Shephard. We'll have more takeouts from the event over the next few weeks, particularly for the (very welcome!) questions that were asked that we didn't have time to address in the room. For now, we'll just say THANK YOU to our panellists and to everybody who took time on a busy Wednesday to join us for the conversation. #impossibletoignore #premiumdilemma #businessforgood #premiumspirits
🚀 Navigating the Future of Premium Spirits in a Post-Covid World 🚀 Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining a thought-provoking webinar with Hue & Cry | Certified B Corp, where we tackled the big question: How can premium spirits brands truly stand out in a rapidly evolving landscape? 🥃✨ 📉 Pre-Covid vs. Post-Covid: The industry looks very different now. Young adults are drinking less, more people are enjoying their spirits at home, and yet…the premium spirits market remains profitable for those who know how to adapt. But with “premium” becoming a diluted term, how can brands redefine and elevate the experience they offer? 🔍 Super-premium. Ultra-premium. The labels probably do not matter to consumers but the experience that product delivers definitely does. 💡 On-Trade Collaboration: Despite the rise of retail and celeb-endorsed products, I believe bars and restaurants still have a vital role in connecting consumers with premium brands. The secret? Effective partnerships where brands are willing to take creative risks and embrace authenticity over familiarity. 🌱 For emerging, independent brands without massive budgets, a grassroots on-trade approach may be the secret weapon to cut through the noise. True engagement happens when a brand’s story resonates and challenges cultural stereotypes rather than repeating them. #PremiumSpirits #BrandStrategy #OnTradeMarketing #ConsumerExperience #IndustryInsights #SpiritsMarketing

It can be easy to forget that iconic brands don't start out that way - they grow into themselves. Nobu: Celebrating 30 years of Excellence was an incredible event for Nobu Hospitality, celebrating the brand's legacy and looking towards the future. Here's to you, Chef Nobu, Robert De Niro & Meir Teper! 🥂 #impossibletoignore #businessforgood #nyc #iconicbrands
🔪 Nobu: Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence 🍣 A very nice one to end the week on... we’ve been keeping this one under wraps for a while, but now we’re thrilled to reveal that this week, we delivered Nobu’s 30th-anniversary celebration at the iconic Glasshouse in NYC. It was a true ‘pinch-me’ moment for Sense, as we conceptualised, designed, and produced the stunning event, with Chef Nobu hosting over 500 personal guests. These included friends, chefs, staff, business partners, and company leaders in an evening filled with the respect and warmth that has defined the brand for three decades. Highlights of the night: 🗽 A one-night-only transformation of the Glasshouse, integrating it seamlessly into the Nobu estate. 🍁 60ft mural that mapped the global growth of the brand. 🐟 A culinary journey through iconic dishes from Nobu’s 30-year history. 🍶 A traditional Sake barrel-cracking ceremony with ownership and partners. 🎹 A live performance by sixteen-time GRAMMY-winning musician and producer David Foster. A massive congratulations to our tireless teams and partners on both sides of the pond for making this event such a success. And finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Nobu Hospitality team for trusting us with such an important occasion.
