HOPE for Epilepsy

Individual and Family Services

A charity dedicated to supporting and connecting families with children that have been affected by Epilepsy.

About us

We are an award winning national charity dedicated to supporting and connecting families with children that have been affected by Epilepsy living anywhere in the UK. We provide a safe space for families to socialise, reduce isolation, build relationships, share information, access support and guidance and most importantly for children to have fun!. We also run an Anti-Suffocation Pillow donation scheme. The pillows have ventilation holes. These allow better air flow around the face which helps a child to breathe more easily if they have a seizure while lying face down. We offer FREE Anti-Suffocation Pillows to children and young people with epilepsy who live in the UK.

We are very grateful to Counsellor and London Assembly member, Anne Clarke, Catherine West MP, and Dan Tomlinson MP for attending the HOPE Christmas Party and for showing such a keen interest in the difficulties and challenges facing families affected by epilepsy. Photos of Anne, Catherine and Dan with some of the HOPE Trustees. Catherine cutting a fabulous HOPE cake made by one of our HOPE parents and Dan drawing the raffle. It was great to see them all getting so involved!

  • Please meet our youngest HOPE Ambassador Torquan Storm. Hi, my name is Storm, and I have been with the HOPE group since I was 7 years old. I am now 15, and I love planes, sailing, rock climbing, camping, riding my bike, attending air cadets, and volunteering at HOPE once a month. I like to help out and give new ideas. I really enjoy my time at HOPE because they always have different activities for all ages and abilities, making it fun for everyone. I also enjoy the yearly visits to London Zoo, which is a great day out for the whole family. I am excited to be an ambassador for HOPE, and I hope to do very well in this role.
