Henderson Park Capital Partners is pleased to announce the sale of the landmark Grand Hyatt Athens hotel. Since its acquisition in June 2017, we have completed an extensive renovation and expansion of the hotel, increasing the number of keys to 548. In addition to upgrading the rooms and suites, the common areas and amenities were transformed including the roof-top restaurant and pool, which offers panoramic views of the city and world-famous Acropolis. Last night, Henderson Park Capital Partners had teams from our Dublin, London and Luxembourg offices take part in the ‘Run in The Dark’. The teams ran 5 or 10 kilometres to help raise money for Collaborative Cures, a charity dedicated to finding innovative solutions for medical challenges. Well done all!

We have secured H Beauty as the latest brand to join our prime retail and leisure asset, Silverburn, located in Glasgow, Scotland. The Harrods-owned brand has taken 22,500 sq ft at the centre. Henderson Park Capital Partners have refinanced a portfolio of 13 hotels across England, Scotland and Ireland. Financed by two lenders with Hilton Edinburgh Carlton, Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre and The Caledonian Edinburgh financed by Aareal Bank AG and the ten UK DoubleTree Hotels by another major international lender. Christophe Kuhbier Head of Investments, Europe at Henderson Park, commented: "This financing is an important milestone in our investment strategy for this portfolio and a testament to the quality of the hotels securing the loan and their future potential to be unlocked via Klarent Hospitality’s active management.
