⚖️ TikTok has asked for an emergency injunction. The platform lost its appeal against the US sale-or-ban law on Friday but has asked to temporarily block the law to give the Supreme Court more time to consider the matter. “What started as a desire to clean up search results to improve usability has morphed into a clear attack on valuable publisher revenues.” Major affiliate networks have responded to Google's updated site reputation policy. Last week, the update impacted a whole new group of affiliates – not just coupon sites. Content affiliates and product review sites are now in the crosshairs. While there is some speculation that these updates were meant to tear down a few large monopolies to boost smaller publishers, there has not been any evidence of this switch around yet.
