Healthcare Leader aims to support NHS system leaders in taking forward their blueprints for the future of health and social care in their places and neighbourhoods. Healthcare Leader is a platform to inform and support leaders working in integrated care systems and on integrated care boards to share innovative ideas to meet the aims of the new system for better health for everyone, better care for all, efficient use of NHS resources, and to enhance the NHS contribution to social and economic regeneration. Healthcare Leader focusses on the primary care voice at system level reflecting the long-held aim of the NHS to move care out of hospitals and closer to home by better, more coordinated approaches in primary care. Through our daily news, views, insight, interviews and reports we champion the work of primary care in the system, provide a platform for primary care at a strategic level and share innovations which improve the lives of NHS staff and patients. About us
Healthcare Leader aims to support all decision-makers in the NHS taking forward their blueprints for the future of health and social care in their local areas. It is a particularly challenging time for the health service and Healthcare Leader will give a platform for local leaders in the NHS and local government to share innovative ideas on how to address the financial and care challenges they face. Incorporating The Commissioning Review, a market-leading publication for clinical commissioning groups, Healthcare Leader will broaden its reach to those in the rest of the health service, such as those involved in local government, Vanguard projects and Sustainability and Transformation (STP) plans.
