About us
No ordinary property consultancy. People in the property world expect and demand more from every aspect of their activities, no longer wanting ideas and services that only work on one level. Better than anyone, we bring together exceptional combinations of people, skills and services to create outstanding value for our clients. Our intimate knowledge of the areas in which we operate allow us to think fast and act quickly. Our flexible structure and open culture mean the very best people work on our clients’ businesses and everyone is empowered to do what it takes. This is why clients and our staff choose to work with Hartnell Taylor Cook. Our breadth of experience reaches across the entire UK, managing over one million sq ft of property across the regional Big 6 cities. We provide a multi-disciplinary service to a breadth of national clients including The Co-operative Group, Tesco, ATS Euromaster and Maritime Coastguard Agency. In the South West we work with private sector clients such as Legal & General and Travelodge as well as private investor clients. We are growing our reputation as public sector experts with appointments as investment advisor to Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Bristol City Councils, alongside the work we already do for Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Homes England. In London we have recently led on a number of significant investment acquisitions and manage in excess of one million sq ft of Grade A City offices for property companies, private clients and family trusts. As a consequence we are now heavily involved in a number of sizeable developments across Central London. We advise major retailers such as Inditex and Uniqlo on their stores across their Central London and regional portfolios. So whether you are an owner, occupier, investor or developer we have the expertise and teams who are ready to help you. Because when the right people, skills and services come together there’s no limit to what can be achieved.

Really great news from Ian Lambert to start the week off; it's great to be able to report investment activity in the out-of-town Bristol office market. #NoOrdinaryPropertyConsultancy #AcquisitionSuccess #BristolBusiness #OfficeMarket #AssetManagement #REIT #CommercialProperty #Investment #Teamwork
Acting on behalf of an overseas REIT, Hartnell Taylor Cook is delighted to have acquired the freehold of 2530 Aztec West, a modern, well-let office building prominently situated in Bristol’s prime Business Park. The 20,254 sq. ft. property has been comprehensively refurbished by the vendor Boultbee Brooks Real Estate, with other asset management initiatives including removing the breaks from two of the leases, leaving a WAULT of almost five years at the point of acquisition. 73% of income is secured on tenants with a D&B Rating of 5A1, with the remaining income let to a highly successful, well-established Business Centre, providing a sustainable and attractive income stream. As ever, it was great to work with the unflappable Andrew Phillips at Savills who acted for Boultbee Brooks Real Estate, and thanks to the team at Boodle Hatfield LLP on the legals for their work on the smooth transaction! For further information on the deal, or a general chat about the Bristol office market, please contact myself or my colleague James Frost.

We enjoyed an excellent turnout at yesterday's Christmas lunch and party, with just shy of 100 Hartnell Taylor Cook people from around the country coming to Bristol to celebrate. With a fancy dress theme of 'heroes and villains', the costumes were many and varied! We actively encourage our people to develop and harness their skills to add value to the many voluntary and community organisations who rely on volunteers to achieve their objectives. As a result, many of us take time out to give back to the community. We think that this is such a valuable activity that we give everyone one working day a year in order to volunteer for something that’s close to their heart. To mark International Volunteers Day, it’s an opportune moment to share some of the highlights from our own team members’ efforts. https://lnkd.in/eT8G4774 #ESG #NationalVolunteersDay #NoOrdinaryPropertyConsultancy

Today we're celebrating #ChristmasJumperDay to raise money for the valuable work undertaken by Save the Children International. We're doing this a week early because of a scheduling clash, but we think it's never too early to celebrate Christmas! By pulling on our festive knits and donating, we not only had a lot of fun, but we’re also supporting children in the UK and around the world to keep safe, healthy, and learning. #noordinarypropertyconsultancy https://lnkd.in/e4h4gHi3
