The prison population in England and Wales is projected to exceed 100,000 by 2029, which is a concerning statistic. Overburdened systems led to overwhelmed rehabilitation programs, reducing the availability and quality of opportunities such as education and vocational training. Consequently, individuals serving long sentences are left unprepared for life after their release. At Hardman Trust, we support people on long sentences in taking their next steps in life so that they, their families, and the wider community benefit. #employability #prisonreform
