The guys at London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) believe in providing outstanding childcare to all children, regardless of circumstance. So that's what they do, day in and day out at 40 nurseries across 12 London boroughs. They're lovely, inspiring people and its such an important mission that impacts so many children and families every year. It's humbling but I'm also just really proud that we've built our business to a level where we can start helping in a small way, so we're providing free nappies and wipes for a year to 2 LEYF nurseries in areas of particularly high deprivation, so that parents and carers can have one less thing to worry about. Thank you to the folks at the excellent Nursery Management Today for covering the story and this is the sort of initiative that Simon Hunt and I are most passionate about, hopefully we can do a lot more in the future. https://lnkd.in/eKwwFDVs

🎉 Hurrah! We’ve hit a fantastic milestone in our nappy recycling trial 💪 100,000 dirty nappies have been collected and recycled, thanks to our amazing partnership with Mypura NappiCycle and Bristol Waste Company. 🌱♻️ It’s incredible to see nappy waste being turned into resources that can be used in our everyday lives. To everyone taking part – our dedicated customers and the incredible families – we couldn’t have done it without you. Your efforts are driving real change, and we’re only just getting started. 🚚 Let’s keep the momentum going! #TeamGB

Did you know we’ve worked with the incredible Childbase Partnership Ltd for 14 years? And together, we’ve diverted over 1,949 tonnes of nappy and sanitary waste from landfill. That’s enough nappies to pave the way from the Childbase HQ in Newport Pagnell to Quebec 😲 Excited to see where the next 14 years take us 💚 #TeamGB

🩲 60,000 nappies recycled so far in our groundbreaking trial! That’s 60,000 nappies which have been diverted from landfill to be turned into all sorts of useful things. It’s all down to our customers, our partners, and families in Bristol, who've committed to making a positive change. Together, we're showing that nappy recycling is a viable option for us here in England. Thank you 💚

Huge congratulations to our customer Acorn Early Years on winning Nursery Group of the Year 2024 at tonight's Nursery World awards. Nearly 15 years ago Acorn were one of the first groups to appreciate our vision and we are as proud to serve them today as we were then. Enjoy the celebrations!

Beyond thrilled to share that we're a finalist for Supplier of the Year at the prestigious Nursery Management Today National Nursery Awards! We were previously named Nursery Supplier/Innovator of the Year at the NMT Awards in 2012. That feels like a long time ago now so we look forward to joining the rest of the 2024 finalists at the ExCel in November.
