😔 The rumours are true - CHINA, USA, and INDIA will dominate 90% of business verticals. This will produce a lot of Unicorn companies, worth $!B+ The bad news? The UK & Europe might only produce about 10% of leading unicorn companies combined. 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 This trend is concerning given the noticeable DECLINE since early 1990s in the number of top British companies that reach unicorn status and become global leaders in various sectors. Regrettably, the UK government prioritizes less relevant issues over fostering the growth of the next generation of unicorn companies. Things are not looking good at all for the UK at the moment… I selected the business verticals based on the existing infrastructure in the respective countries and the rate of progress within the top 100 leading deep tech verticals such as aerospace, space, and material science…. ...what can be done to help the UK do you think? p.s. Does anyone else wish Rishi Sunak would FOCUS ON DEEPTECH AND STARTUPS TO SAVE THE COUNTRIES ECONOMY?
