  • RECORDING AVAILABLE | Webinar explored how to increase value delivery from Category Management by turning benchmarks into actions Embedding Category Management across the Procurement Operating Model and sharing practical tips for building & continuously developing effective category teams using insights from the 2024 Category Management Report was the key focus of our recent webinar ‘From Benchmarks To Traction: how to turn Category Management into a value driver’. The recording is now available. Facilitated by Fabian Lampe, Founder of Advance Procurement, Mark Webb and Rachael Legg FCIPS / MEng Hons / EMBA Legg, former interim CPO at Rolls-Royce, discussed the power of external benchmarks for assessing the maturity of procurement organisations and Category Management processes, and how to translate the findings into practical actions that turn Category Management into a competitive advantage and value driver for an organisation. Based on the 2024 Global Category Management Report, the most comprehensive source for benchmarking in Category Management, the discussion explored the operating model dimensions and how to think more holistically about Category Management. The report explains each dimension in detail and provides benchmarks and actionable advice for how to improve across 70+ metrics. Going deep on selected examples to demonstrate how they can be turned into a clear plan of action was the red line throughout the discussion and makes the recording relevant to everyone trying to improve their CatMan practices.
