Humane Society International hosted two roundtables with Joanna Randall sharing the development of Humane Society UK’s Forward Food plant-based training programme, and Jenny Chandler shoxwcasing how to get more plants on a plates, with attendees tasting parched peas on toast with beetroot and walnut cream. Drew Campbell, CISSN and Seiji Aoyagi from NiHPRO showcased a new ingredient for delicious-tasting flavoured protein powders, beverages, and snacks. Laura Contin from European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance focussed on sports and active nutrition, discussing how to navigate the policy, political and regulatory landscape. On Day 2, Mohammed Hamoud, Ph.D. from the Culinary Arts Commission, وزارة الثقافة Ministry of Culture built on his lunchtime address on day 1 by hosting a roundtable that delved further into the International Food Atlas.
