After 40 years in the live events industry, working as a Lighting Tech, Designer, Producer, and Production Manager, I spent 14 of those years as a Freelance Lighting Tech. I have tremendous respect for Freelancers in their ability at being able to adapt to multi-skilled situations. Freelancers, like Crew are an integral part of our Live Events industry and by God do we have the best Freelancers & Crew in the Live Events Sector. GA24 - 92nd Interpol General Assembly Five Star Crew recently provided extensive support for the 92nd Interpol General Assembly at the Scottish Event Campus, covering the SEC Centre, SEC Hydro, and SEC Armadillo. Each day, we had more than 30 crew members on site, working on setup tasks, unloading multiple trucks, providing technical assistance, constructing stages and arranging furniture. Fifteen days of hard work - 10 days for setup, 4 show days and one for a swift 24-hour de-rig. We had 90 crew on site for the de-rig to meet the strict timeline. Our team ensured the event ran smoothly, from daily support to seamless turnovers across the site. Another successful large-scale project from start to finish! . #fivestarcrew
