Our latest industry update, Outlook, confirmed an unchanged 2024/25 levy forecast of £265m. No additional levy is expected from firms for the remainder of the financial year. It also provided an initial 2025/26 levy forecast of £394m. We expect to pay similar amounts of compensation to 2024/25; however, the levy is forecast to be higher as lower surpluses will be taken forward. At FSCS we’re proud to support our employees’ development, and make a conscious effort to celebrate successes, both on an individual and organisational level. Our Facilities Manager Keith Blanchard and Facilities Officer Jason Edwards recently celebrated milestone accreditations in facilities; Keith received a Level 4 certification in IWFM and a NEBOSH Qualification and Jason received a Level 3 IWFM certification. Congratulations to both colleagues for their hard work.

This #WorldKindnessDay, we’re casting a fond eye back on a recent volunteering opportunity, where FSCS colleagues showed kindness to the planet 🌍 Staff across the organisation visited Horsenden Farm, where they planted trees, contributing to our ongoing goal of offsetting our carbon emissions. Here’s what some of our volunteers had to say about their experiences: “It's important to give back to Mother Nature what she has given to us. Planting trees is a simple act with so many benefits. It was great working with the team and being outdoors.” – Sabrina Mandil, SCV Data Assurance Analyst “Volunteering for tree planting is something I’ve done for the last couple of years it’s always a fun experience, more importantly it’s an opportunity to give something back, not just to the environment but to the community also.” - Kevin Copas, FSCS People Experience Partner A huge well done to all involved and special thanks to Sabrina for capturing the day’s highlights 📹
