Testing is an essential component in the implementation life cycle of a back office solution deployment and there are several phases that will make up the overall testing of the system. The overall testing strategy should be supplemented with specific test plans that provide a more detailed approach for each phase of testing. The objective of testing is not to test every line of code but to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements and demonstrates that the entire system performs correctly given a business situation or event.
