Low code is the buzz phrase in the world of technology in recent months and years which is why we have created this blog post to outline the key features of a low code solution and the benefits.   Low code is a software development approach that allows teams to create digital solutions and enterprise applications with minimal coding requirements. This method elevates coding from textual to visual, using a model-driven, drag-and-drop interface. We are proud to be an Infor alliance partner and exclusive public sector reseller because their solutions are at the full front of innovation and one aspect we support is the ability to integrate the Infor solutions with a huge array of other software Easily integrate Infor and third-party enterprise systems, while eliminating information silos with Infor Intelligent Open Network (ION). Infor ION provides the flexibility you need to make an often complex web of enterprise systems work together. It provides the long-term sustainability to optimise return on technology investments. Get in touch to hear about our experience implementing Infor solutions successfully with integrations.

Not everything has to be a big bang approach when it comes to back office transformations, start small and then increase once there is a greater understanding A big bang approach offers limited agility. All the project would be doing is taking an outcome that needs to be delivered sometime down the line and barrelling blindly towards it. There’s no opportunity to iterate, revalidate the approach, assess the desirability of the outcomes and evaluate need for course correction. We are experienced in delivering digital transformation to various industries and the principles of implementation are usually similar, which is why our approach to implementation is based on working to a set of guiding principles.  We believe in collaboration with the customers, upskilling the organisation so that it is stronger after we leave. We will lead and drive decision making, utilising our experience and collective delivery knowledge as required but prefer to operate as a co-pilot with the customer.   Get in touch with us today to hear more about our tried and tested implementation approach

It is great to see that the workforce management (WFM) industry is set to grow as the adoption of a solid WFM system has the ability to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitability in businesses. We implement Infor’s WFM solution which is outlined in the linked report and welcome conversations with people whose businesses currently still rely on outdated on-premiss systems that limit agility and hinder growth. Infor’s WFM is hosted on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud which enables organisations to optimise every aspect of labour management and productivity. Strategically enhance workforce planning, execution, and analysis built on a proven technology platform that delivers time and attendance, demand-driven scheduling, workforce scheduling, and absence management tools. It also ensures compliance with employment policies and allows increased engagement across your organisation. Get in touch to hear more about Infor’s WFM system and our implementation approach today Read the full report here-  https://lnkd.in/e9_K9xVQ

Testing is an essential component in the implementation life cycle of a back office solution deployment and there are several phases that will make up the overall testing of the system. The overall testing strategy should be supplemented with specific test plans that provide a more detailed approach for each phase of testing. The objective of testing is not to test every line of code but to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements and demonstrates that the entire system performs correctly given a business situation or event. The Testing approach will follow a methodology that comprises of 4 Test Phases  1.        UAT 2.        Performance testing 3.        SIT testing  4.        Unit testing Which will be testing the following components/ deliverables 1.        Business requirements 2.        Integrations 3.        System design and integrations 4.        Unit/ component design Then finally the validation will happen through the build. If you would like to hear more about how we test the system before go live during our digital back office implementations get in touch today.

Local authorities are able to use low-code to improve citizen wellbeing and UK councils have been proving this. Local governments and councils are under more pressure than ever to keep up with the growing needs of their citizens. From environmental issues to supporting vulnerable people during times of crisis. As a result, local authorities are turning to low-code technology, to tackle issues quickly and cost-effectively, whilst putting emphasis on user experience. As a registered Quickbase partner, we implement their low code solution to organisations requiring an updated back office. We have experience implementing the Quickbase system to many types of organisations, including UK public sector organisations. Read more- https://lnkd.in/e8P3Jnpg

When it comes to digital transformations we find that a concern from customers is around what will happen at the end of the implementation period. At FifthQuadrant, we aim to develop long-lasting collaborations with our customers, and this can be evidenced by the level of support we provide throughout and after implementation. Our project managers and consultants seek to ensure that each phase of the implementation is understood by the key business stakeholders and that resources' roles and responsibilities are clear. On numerous previous projects, our team have gone above-and-beyond what was required to help the customer’s business and IT stakeholders to help resolve internal issues and suggest better ways of working. For example, at one client, we realised that their IT Governance and business engagement process was not fit for purpose, so we worked with the Head of IT to implement an IT governance framework fit for the organisation and helped to define the role of several key IT Business Partners. Our ongoing support provides: •       Defined Incident Response Times •       Unlimited Incidents •       Telephone Access: During business hours, you can contact our support team via phone. •       Interactive Briefings: You may attend interactive briefing sessions addressing common topics of interest.  •       Critical Incident Support: Infrastructure outages and critical application halted situations are supported 24x7 •       Upgrades to the core product are deployed as part of the Infor Release Process.
