FIELDS FULL OF LIFE 🌾 WHISKY FULL OF FLAVOUR 🥃
About us
The English whisky that’s changing farming, field by field, harvest by harvest. What’s whisky got to do with farming? Everything. Whisky is an agricultural product, but most grain in England is grown industrially, with chemicals. Not on Fielden’s farms. Fielden is bringing England’s fields back to life by planting heritage grains that grew here centuries ago. Our farmers work with nature and never use chemicals. Instead, the grain grows in clover, a natural fertiliser that helps the soil stay healthy. Our grain grows tall and strong. Our fields are wild and glorious. And our whisky is full of flavour: think warm flaky pastry, butter and caramel.

Exciting times at Fielden as we commissioned our grain operations centre at Tubbs End Farm. Huge thanks to Hugh Forsyth, our MD of Farmng, & Nick Horne, our COO, for making this project happen. We are now ready to take our grain, grown without the use of agrochemicals, from our farming partner’s fields, clean & sort it ready for re-planting or malting & distilling. The 2000 tonne grain storage facility allows us to hold grain by type and year in preparation for future mash bill planning. Fields full of life. Whisky full of flavour.

The UK's first bottle box made from agricultural waste 🎁 👀 Just in time for Christmas, we've teamed up with PaperWise - B Corp™ to create a sustainable gift box that is better for the planet. ✅ 100% agricultural waste ✅ 100% tree-free ✅ 100% recyclable (including the foil) ✅ 100% compostable ✅ Completely unbleached PaperWise is made from the stems and leaves left over after harvest (from crops including rice, wheat, barley, cereals, corn, hemp and sugar cane). It's produced with 100% green energy and is CO2 neutral, with 47% less impact than FSC-certified paper and 29% less impact than recycled paper.* This process also provides small-scale farmers in developing countries with an additional income from their agri-waste. Like Fielden Whisky, it's better for farmers and better for the planet 🌾 💚

Thank you to Miona Madsen and the Spirts Business for shouting out how Fielden has 'glown up' in 2024. A huge shout out to all our customers who have supported The Fielden and Berry Bros & Rudd team since our launch in May 2024. Without your belief in us and our mission we have nothing. Together we shall show there is a way to farm for whisky which is kind to the farmer, nature, climate and planet. Fields full of life. Whisky full of flavour. Cheers to all as we enter the holiday season. #sustainablefarming #regenfarming #berrybros #fielden #spiritsbusiness

FIELDEN IN THE WILD 👀 Streets of London! It’s always exciting to see Fielden Whisky featured on back bars, menus and in serves across London’s bars and restaurants 🥃 “The reception of Fielden in the on-trade market since its launch has been overwhelmingly positive. Esteemed venues in the sustainability space, such as Little Mercies and Apricity, have embraced the whisky, amplifying our message and values. Meanwhile, leading establishments like Satan’s Whiskers and a wide range of considered restaurants highlight the strong belief our customers have in the quality of our liquid.” Daniel Mussen Head of On-Trade Strategy

Cheers Tim, Cheers Simon 🥃 Thrilled to see Fielden Rye Whisky make its debut on C4’s Sunday Brunch yesterday! The Cranberry Rye Old Fashioned definitely caught the attention of the celebrity guests - and Simon himself 👀 Big thanks to Karina Elias for the exceptional English pairings.

An evening inspired by England’s hedgerows 🍃 Last night, we hosted twelve journalists at La Goccia at The Petersham, Covent Garden, to celebrate the launch of Hedgerow Rye Whisky, the first in our Fieldnotes collection. Guests from Forbes SLOP Magazine The Spirits Business, The Drinks Business and Barley Magazine enjoyed a seasonal menu, followed by a tasting led by our Whiskymaker, Chico. David Smith shared how we’re changing farming for the better - from planting our rye, resilient to the recent rains, to the camaraderie in the farmers’ WhatsApp group. With England’s hedgerows inspiring both our whisky and the evening’s floral designs, it was a true celebration of fields full of life and whisky full of flavour 🌾🥃

Thanks to Walpole for the Brands of Tomorrow Panel x Knightsbridge Partnership evening, giving Fielden the opportunity to be on stage at Harvey Nichols with the inspiring sisterly duo that are Rosanna and Christie from Otiumberg & the wonderfully entertaining Josh from Katto. A great evening of storytelling and sharing experiences with a very inquisitive audience 🙏 I hope all those who attended enjoyed their little gift from Fielden. Fields full of life. Whisky full of flavour. 🌾 🥃
