Fable Data directly sources anonymous pan European consumer spend data from banks and credit card issuers. We conduct bespoke processes to enrich the data we receive and this enables raw data to become capable of analysis and insights. And we do all of this in real-time, so our clients get a snapshot into what’s happening on the ground right now. Changes in the way consumers spend, the reduction in our reliance on cash and our keenness to embrace mobile wallets and digital payments, mean that there has never been so much rich data available based on factual behaviors. Fable can supply access to this data. For instance, we can accurately measure exactly where consumers are spending on the high street, how much they are spending, how their buying patterns have altered, who are the brand winners and losers, and what effect these changes might have on future share prices. Read our new market insight on Spotify's performance after it announced it's 'year of monetization' and several price hikes. https://bit.ly/3Yo6ax1 Analysis using our pan-European consumer spend data indicates: 📈 Over the last year, average monthly plan prices are up c.13-15% across Germany, France, Italy, Spain and nearly 20% in the UK, fueling much of Spotify's 2024 growth. 📊 Whilst we see average price per plan and per subscriber increase, we see no further discernible change in plan mix since the price rises started in August 2023. 👉 In the UK, only c3% of subscribers opted to downgrade plans despite price rises that included a new audio book element. 🌍 Why is Europe important?
