A full-time champion of solicitor apprenticeships, Founder and Director at Joanna Hughes Solicitor Apprenticeships, Co-Lead of City Century and Liveryman | Previously a solicitor for 25 years at a 'Magic Circle' law firm

Sneak preview of the opening session at City Century Live! London today... Me in conversation with Julian Richard 🙌🏾 The last time I saw Julian in conversation with someone in this way he was speaking with David Lammy, now our Foreign Secretary, but hey I like to aim high! When I was thinking about who could give an overview of City of London law firms, national and international law firms, and how unique it is for them to be collaborating to champion the solicitor apprenticeship route into their firms, my mind went to straight to Julian as Managing Director of extense. We first met when we were both members of the City of London Corporation Socio-Economic Diversity Taskforce. Julian knows law firms, and he knows why diversity and inclusion matters in law firms. He is the author of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏% Study after all. I hope the 1500 students attending enjoy our conversation, and I hope the 50 law firms present at the event think that we do a good job! Check out which firms will be there in the City Century LinkedIn post I just did 👇🏽 https://lnkd.in/ebfqNk3F #CityCenturyLive #SolicitorApprenticeships
