An update from our Co-Founders, Karen Gill MBE and Maxine Benson MBE as we embark on a new partnership with AllBright. "Well, what a journey so far… 25 years ago, when we started everywoman, we were pioneering in our approach. We wanted to create a community for women, where they could come together to share experiences and have a voice in the commercial world. We specifically wanted to showcase the amazing things women were achieving in business and get their stories profiled, especially in the media. From our modest beginnings in a room in the loft, we have gone on to publishing pivotal reports and manifestos, influencing the conversation and strengthening the argument for change. From listening to ambitious women who shared their stories of keeping their heads down in the hope their talent would be spotted, to launching awards and events across industry sectors to uncover thousands of role models to inspire future generations. From an informal group coaching session on building self-confidence, to an extensive suite of leadership development programmes that over 200,000 women have attended. We’re making progress and are immensely proud of all we have achieved so far. The everywoman global community has been so instrumental in helping us shape everything we do, we couldn’t have done it without this support and generosity of spirit. But it must be said, the passion and commitment has been shown in greatest abundance by the incredible everywoman team, both past and present. You are the best. This shared passion and vision for advancing women in business, coupled with an unwavering commitment to fostering diverse, inclusive workplace cultures where everyone thrives and businesses flourish, has been the driving force since 1999. As we celebrate our milestone 25th anniversary, we've been reflecting on our journey: - the distance travelled… a long way, and yet there remains so much more to do! - the people we’ve met…from the most accomplished women in business, the politicians and changemakers, the accidental success stories, the driven survivors, the bold, the fearless, the absolute legends. Our mentors, champions and cheerleaders. What a privilege. And now, it’s time for the next part of the journey… Our recent press announcement (https://lnkd.in/eGFHCwq6) details our exciting partnership with AllBright, led by the incredible, dynamic Viviane Paxinos, CEO. Together we will considerably expand our outreach at a faster pace and be able to provide a wider range of services that focus on making a real and lasting impact. We are excited about the possibilities this union brings. Here’s to new beginnings and continued growth.” Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/eGFHCwq6

Nominate yourself or someone you know for a 2025 everywoman in Transport & Logistics Award! 🚚✨ Join us in recognising the incredible talent driving change in this industry. With over 1.5 million people employed in UK transport and logistics, contributing £214 billion to the economy, it's clear this sector is vital. Yet, despite its significance, women still only make up 23% of the workforce, and 58% of organisations lack formal targets, commitments, or quotas for gender diversity. This has to change. Sponsored by Unipart Rail, FedEx Express, DSV - Global Transport and Logistics, and more, these awards serve as a significant platform for showcasing success stories, challenging perceptions, and fostering role models to inspire the workforce of the future. Nominations are free and open to women and male allies at every career stage.
