The Britain's Most Admired Companies designers had all sorts of fun with this picture, in 2009 👇😆 12 months after the financial crash, Management Today's commentary said: "One of the fundamental aims of the BMAC survey is to celebrate the skills and successes of the management of the best British companies. Never have these skills been as important and as sternly tested as during the past 18 months." Sound familiar? Fast forward to 2024 and our corporate superheroes can't hang up their capes just yet.🦸♂️🦸♀️ Find out how your company compares, and what it needs to do to climb the rankings, by joining our BMAC Leaders Network 👉 https://lnkd.in/ewncNCDG

A final snapshot from the Britain's Most Admired Companies archives, and without doubt it's our favourite here at Echo. In 2018 we asked the UK's top bosses to name their most admired leader. The joint top spot went to Dame Carolyn McCall & Dame Emma Walmsley 🥂 . A great riposte to the very male line-ups in other years, and just a brilliant photo 📷👏. As the founder of FedEx said: "leaders get out in front and stay there by raising the standards by which they judge themselves – and by which they are willing to be judged." Watch this space for news of the CEO panel at the 2024 BMAC Awards, 14th January at London Stock Exchange. One of the best things about Britain's Most Admired Companies is our trend data on corporate reputations, going back 35 years. In the coming weeks I'll dig into the Most Admired archives🔎 to see how reputations have risen & fallen, and what's driven this change... To kick off, here's a great quote from The Economist, in 1989: 👇 "Today's companies like to be admired too, especially by their peers. There are good reasons why. If everyone - from analysts to rival bosses in your industry - thinks you have got it right, you probably have... ...admiration brings with it a firmer share price and loyal shareholders, which helps to fend off would-be predators. Best of all, being admired is usually good for business. When workers are told they are doing a good job they tend to do a better one; so do companies." Who were the Top 3 Most Admired Companies in 1989? Shell, Glaxo and Marks & Spencer. This year's winners will be announced at London Stock Exchange on 14th January - here's the shortlist👉 https://bit.ly/48Vd8yA. If you'd like to find out how your corporate reputation has evolved, relative to your peers, do get in touch. ☎️ 📧

We took a bold approach with this design, incorporating a pop of pink to make it stand out. Echo Research wanted something that would break away from the traditional corporate look, adding a touch of fun with vibrant colour. We are thrilled with how it turned out - what do you think?
