“A lot of people who struggle with dyslexia don’t always know where they are going with it because they’ve been pushed to the side. Especially with the language thing because we don’t always know how to communicate what we want or how we feel.” This Dyslexia Awareness Week, Luke Hearne Brown, co-founder of Insight Films talks to us about the importance of finding your voice and having a champion who can help you with your pathway through education. It's Dyslexia Awareness Week! This year's theme is "What's Your Story?" It’s only by listening to the individual experiences and personal goals of individuals with dyslexia that we better understand how to fully support them in schools, colleges, and the workplace. Luke Hearne Brown a successful filmmaker and co-founder of Imprint Films kindly spoke to us about his experience with dyslexia and some of the tutors and teachers who helped him stay in education.
