As part of our World Book Day, we are launching a book donation drive to support children who are affected by book poverty. DCUKFM are pleased to announce that we have partnered with London Borough of Southwark’s food bank charity Pecan for the next three years. We have made a monthly financial commitment and the offer of community support by staff volunteers during this period. Between April 2022 and March 2023 the Southwark Foodbank supported: 11,598 People in Southwark, 4,348 Children, 7,250 Adults. This equates to two tonne of food being distributed weekly throughout the borough.
