DiversITy-talent is a Community Impact Company (CIC) set up to inspire young people and other untapped, underrepresented talent pools from diverse backgrounds into business and technology careers. The British Computer Society – BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), CIONET and The ESG Institute are our founding partners. Our unwavering purpose is to pave the way towards a world where talent diversity reigns supreme, where both digital ways of working and enabling technologies empower us to tackle the most pressing world, business, and community issues through groundbreaking innovation. Our mission is to ignite curiosity, awareness and the development of young people and other untapped, underrepresented talent pools regarding the vast possibilities offered by a modern career in business and technology, thereby cultivating a diverse, skilled, digitally literate talent pool that will shape the future DiversITy-talent seeks business sponsorship to drive an industrial movement for a diverse, digitally competent talent pool, offering a future competitive advantage for all businesses. Together we can impact 60,000 untapped talent pools in 5 years. The ‘DiversITy-talent Awards’ A national competition open to all schools, youth groups, disadvantaged teenagers, young adults and minority groups representing untapped talent pools The competition’s aim: To solve society or community challenges through applying modern business skills, digital ways of working, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and appropriate technology to find winning, practical solutions that can be implemented successfully. In addition, we will be offering modern business and tech core skills training to our supporting partners, our communities , with underrepresented talent pools, and to support the effort in reskilling our ageing population with enhanced digital know-how.

    🥳 On this Thank You Thursday we are saying 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 to the amazing GREENSHAW LEARNING TRUST, which piloted our game-changing DiversITy-talent 12-week awards programme in five of its primary and secondary schools. 👏 During the programme, we 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 about what careers in technology are about. They discovered 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – all skills you need for a successful career in one of the most exciting industries on earth.     Reflecting on an unforgettable week at the WORLD SUMMIT ON WOMEN & GIRLS Last week, the historic halls of Westminster were filled with voices that inspire hope, resilience, and empowerment! We are beyond proud to have been part of the World Summit on Women & Girls, with our very own incredible Girl-child Leaders from GREENSHAW LEARNING TRUST representing DiversITy-talent. These young trailblazers, selected as 2024 DiversITy-talent awardees, stood confidently alongside distinguished leaders, diplomats, and advocates. Their courage and insights lit up the room, proving once again that the next generation is not only ready to lead but to 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 what leadership means.💡 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼-𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀: ANNA SOMAIYA DiversITy-talent Co-Founder and CEO, received the esteemed 𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. Fellow co-founder Jeremy was honoured with an award recognising his 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀. iChange Nations is the world's leading civility organisation, headquartered in the United States of America. iChange Nations honours world leaders on a global scale and have so far honoured over 30 Presidents and Prime Ministers worldwide. The awards were presented yesterday at the World Summit on Women and Girls, held at the House of Lords, Westminster.    Overwhelmed by the honour, Anna says: “I am genuinely surprised, delighted, and humbled to receive this award.     𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹! We are delighted that five girls who have participated in our @DiversITy-talent programme took part in a panel at the World Summit on Women and Girls that is being held in the House of Lords, Westminster, to mark the occasion and continue the conversation. Maria, Chimdiotu, Imani, Jean and Phoebe spoke inspiringly in the panel sessions "Our voice, our future" and, as our co-founder Jeremy 💫 Blain put it, "𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺!" At the end of the day, the girls were praised for delivering one of the strongest sessions and they can be very proud of how they delivered leadership in action. They were accompanied by our co-founders ANNA SOMAIYA and @Jeremy Blain, who were been invited to speak at the summit and share their vision for empowering diverse technology talent. The theme of the summit is “Elevating Girls’ Voices for Sustainable Development” and provides a platform for women and girls from around the world to take part in an intergenerational dialogue. Female leaders, girls, and male allies are exploring the 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀’ 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹. As you can see, the aims of the summit align perfectly with our mission here at DiversITy-talent, where we want all underrepresented groups, including women and girls, to know more about the 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀.
