So, Day 2- I woke in Gaily and was joined once again by Caroline Hart & support vehicle star John Jones and we set off for Brackley- boy what a day! Again an exec decision to change to route and stay more on the roads- possibly not the wisest decision as some of the route was BRUTAL!! It turned out we hit around 86 miles going through Norton Canes, Shenstone, Coleshill, Meriden ( which I'm told is the centre of the UK geographically?) Leamington Spa, Banbury then Brackley- and all points in between- I was shattered! Again sponsored accommodation from this time the Paisley Pear also a Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company pub, and once again looked after amazingly well- Ill do a proper shout out during this event for the chain as time pushed now to start day 3 and cover off my thank you messages.
