Over forty years ago ‘Corfu Villas’, now CV Villas, was a twinkle in the eye of a husband and wife team who fell in love with the beautiful north east coast of Corfu with its traditional Greek harbours, historic villages, crystal clear waters, and beachside tavernas. Discovering and sharing villa `finds’ with friends soon grew into a small and highly personal business offering exceptional holiday houses in unrivalled settings. Villas were photographed and presented in hand-finished brochures, sent out with a note asking for them to be returned! These days, the Greek Islands remain our flagship destination, most notably Corfu, but a selection of our villas now appear in a beautifully designed brochure or on our informative and friendly website. The lemon cheesecake was a huge hit! 🍋
On Tuesday, we had round two of our themed lunches at CV Villas and Jules Verne Ltd. Instead of buying lunch out, employees brought in their own dishes, and we managed to raise a further £90 to support our charity partners, The Charlie Waller Trust 🧡 This time, the theme was "staff specialties," giving everyone the chance to showcase their favorite dishes or those that get rave reviews at dinner parties. ⭐ We enjoyed an array of delicious dishes, including homemade focaccia, a mouthwatering chicken pasta bake, and a zesty lemon cheesecake, among many others. 🍰 Who knew our HQ was home to so many talented chefs!? 👩🍳

Last weekend me and the team at CV Villas took on the South Downs 13 mile hike in aid of the Charlie Waller Trust; a charity we have partnered with that supports young people with mental health. It was an amazing day and the sun came out to help us along the way. I feel truly grateful to work for a company that supports us in this matter and that we also, are able to support others. #wellbeingwalks

Following Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re delighted to have chosen the The Charlie Waller Trust as our Charity of the Year. The Charlie Waller Trust was chosen following a comprehensive selection process, which culminated in a vote amongst all staff. Over 30 charities were considered against certain criteria, including how relatable and relevant they were to our business and the impact they have on the local community. The Charlie Waller Trust provides mental health training to help people look after their wellbeing. It has become one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities. The charity has a positive, practical, and proven approach, which gives people confidence to talk openly about mental health, and skills that last a lifetime. CV Villas MD, Pete Brudenell said “We are delighted to support The Charlie Waller Trust. Our office has been bustling with activity lately! ✨ Last week, we joined forces with our wonderful friends at Jules Verne Ltd to mark Neurodiversity Week. 🧠 It was an absolute delight to welcome Amanda Jayne Harman, a remarkable neurodivergent coach, mentor, and writer, who graced us with her expertise in empowering adults with late-diagnosed or suspected neurodivergent conditions. A heartfelt thank you, 'AJ', for your invaluable insights and inspiring contributions! 🚀 More recently, some of the team embarked on a fulfilling volunteering experience with The Felix Project. This incredible initiative collects surplus food and distributes it to charities and schools throughout London, providing support to millions in need. From the warehouse to the kitchen, our team rolled up their sleeves and lent a hand preparing and packaging lots of nourishing meals. It's moments like these that truly exemplify the power of community and compassion! 🥰
