About us
We’re on a mission to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. And as a market-leading omnichannel tech retailer, we’re in a position to connect millions of customers, online and in our stores, with the best tech. But we don’t just sell tech. We deliver it, install it, fix it, re-home it and recycle it. In fact, we’re the biggest recycler and repairer of tech in the UK. Everything we achieve is thanks to our 25,000 colleagues, who work to create amazing moments for our customers – and for ourselves. Working here is a chance to help both people and the planet. From the big wins to the everyday little zings of being in a job you love, it all adds up to something amazing. Everyone’s different so we’ve designed our benefits and opportunities to reflect that. Perhaps you’re looking for training and to gain skills for life. Or maybe you’re focused on career progression or building your network. Whatever your goal, we’ll help you go after what you really want. We’ve got amazing perks, including discounts on the latest tech, healthcare plans and the opportunity to earn bonuses. And because we’re here for our colleagues, we care for their mental wellbeing. We’ve trained 1,400 colleagues to become Mental Health First Aiders and Mental Health Champions and have a 24-hour confidential helpline for all colleagues. As a business, we also champion flexible working. In our Corporate teams, for example, we offer hybrid working. Our aim is to create the perfect mix of working options to allow us all to collaborate, connect and do our best work. In our Newark hub, the biggest (and best) mixed electrical repairs centre in Europe, our colleagues and teams are proud to give tech a second life. We do this by recycling and repairing devices and harvesting components, with thousands of items being redistributed via charities, helping to make tech more accessible. And when we fix and resell other unwanted or broken tech, we're contributing to a more sustainable future every day – one of our key aims. 🌍 #ReduceReuseRecycle #Sustainability

Our Supply Chain Graduates have been rolling up their sleeves and learning all about how we work at Currys. Sudhir Rajesh has hit the ground running in Newark in Supply Chain operations. Here’s his breakdown of a few of his first days at Currys: Day One: Visited the Newark Campus, where we saw the entire process from receiving deliveries to managing customer repairs and returning products within Currys' 7-day promise. Day Two: Shadowed a pair of Drivers to watch delivery and installation at customers' homes. It was eye-opening to see how they interact with customers, the challenges they faced, and the satisfaction of solving issues on the spot. Day Three: This marked my first official day with my amazing team! I was introduced to over 15+ General Managers from Currys stores across the UK. Ended the day exploring the future of retail stores. What an exciting and insightful week it's been, full of hands-on learning! Excited for what's next! 🚀" Set alerts to be notified when new Graduate vacancies go live, here: https://lnkd.in/eh6Q6UDz #CurrysGraduateScheme #SupplyChain #Graduates #GraduateRoles

With 1,300 incidents a day in the UK, the levels of crime against retail workers is completely unacceptable. This #RespectforShopworkersWeek, we spoke to Matthew Speight to find out more about this priority area of his. “Colleague safety is a huge priority of mine. It was great to see the Government focus on this issue in the budget last week, taking a stronger approach to dealing with those who think it’s acceptable to shoplift and behave aggressively or violently towards our teams. “We are always looking at improving prevention – but the harsh reality is we will never be able to stop it completely. We will continue to make it very difficult for those who think it’s acceptable to be aggressive towards colleagues and other customers when stealing from us. “So, it’s timely that this week is Respect for Shopworkers Week. Whilst the week, rightfully so, highlights the importance, for me it’s about ensuring our teams are respected every day they come to work. No one should be put in a situation where they feel scared at work – and we must all work together with our fellow retailers and Police to stop these individuals and gangs thinking this is acceptable.” #retail #colleaguesafety Pictured below - Matthew and Currys Christchurch Store Team

This is Declan. He works in our Letterkenny store in Ireland. He was recently mentioned on his local radio station by a mother, who was talking about life with her son with autism, who is a weekly visitor to the store. Read what she had to say: 💬 "Every Saturday Oisín & his Daddy go to Currys here in Letterkenny, as I work. Every single Saturday they go. 🛍️ I just wanted to tell everyone how absolutely unbelievable their staff are in their Letterkenny store. 👨💻 Every weekend they tolerate my child coming into their store for over an hour. Let him touch all the things, help do all the jobs and interact with him on every level. 😍 Especially Declan. 💛 I hear about Declan every Saturday when I get home from work. He is kind, patient and has a heart of gold. He comes outside and waves Osh off every single weekend too. 👏 Osh just loves him. He loves them all. They are just so unbelievably awesome. 😀 Keep up the great work guys and thank you so much for making a special little boy's day, every week." Thank you for being so incredible, Declan (and the rest of the Letterkenny team)!

When you think of sales clichés, what springs to mind? Script-reading robots with sky-high targets, probably. 🤖But the colleagues who speak to our customers from our contact centres every single day couldn't be further from the stereotype. Take Joe for example...👋 Six months ago, he was launched into his current role as an Inbound Telesales Agent at our Loughborough Campus. 📞 It was nothing like he had done previously, so we chatted to him about how he honed his new inbound sales skills: “I was glad to get a gradual introduction with the training, I felt it was spaced out well, so I could adapt to my role and have plenty of opportunity to get extra support before going onto the phone on my own. In training, you spend time listening in to other agents, before being eased in gently with helping existing customers, before you take on the 'fresh' calls. I felt well-supported by my managers all the way through." Thanks Joe, we look forward to seeing how you flourish throughout your career with us at Currys! 🤝 #CallCentre #InboundSales #SalesTraining #WorkingAtCurrysCallCentres
