At 65, it's a new beginning! 🌟 Meet Rosemarie, a fantastic example of how age is just a number. She's taken the leap and completed a Level 2 Retail Apprenticeship with Tesco, proving that it's never too late to learn and grow. Her story is a true inspiration and shows the power of apprenticeship programmes. Rosemarie, with her vivacious spirit, brings a unique blend of skills and wisdom to her role. "I know the ingredients for things, which my younger colleagues don't," she says, highlighting the beauty of a mixed-age workforce. Despite the challenges, she found herself supported by an "amazing" tutor and an equally supportive work environment. It's this approach that has not only boosted her career but also her confidence. Today, we had a lovely surprise visit from the amazing Joe at CT Skills, who popped in to drop off a Christmas card and a box of chocolates for the team - which then turned into an hour-long catch-up about life in general, team development, and everything else! 🤣 A massive thank you to Joe Carruthers for spreading some festive cheer and for all the support you've provided us over many years as a business - though the chocolates won’t last long, that’s for sure! 😄 If you’re looking for an Apprenticeship Training Provider, the team at CT Skills - who I have worked with for many years now are truly incredible at what they do and never fail to amaze me or my team in every aspect, from communication to ongoing training and development. On a separate note, our office Christmas decorations and tree are finally up! 🎄 After rooting through the infamous & massive office shed to find what we thought was a tiny box of decorations, we discovered we’ve actually accumulated quite a collection over the past eight years - enough to give Harrods a run for its money! It turns out our little Christmas tree is looking pretty spectacular with all its festive trimmings! 🎅 If you haven’t already, it’s time to deck those office halls - we can confirm it makes all the difference and has certainly lifted my spirits today! 🥂 ❄️ #FestiveSeason #OfficeChristmas #Appreciation #CTSkills
