A day in the life in our Digital team! Our Digital team comprises of our Data Science, IT and Digital Development departments. These all play a vital role in delivering a digital-driven business for our customers, making their ordering, tracking and customer support easy. Working in those teams, you would play a vital role in the ongoing development and maintenance of our website and systems (front and back end) as well as how we gather and analyse our data to be a data-driven business. Of course, the introduction of AI and machine learning will be critical in all areas of our business. A day in the life of our Customer Envoys! Our Customer Envoys spend their days visiting their local customers, delivering orders and talking through any business needs they may have. This role is critical for Cromwell, and our customers, as they will be able to pass on any needs or comments our customers have, plus they get to understand how we can better assist them. Our Customer Envoys have been able to progress into other roles in our business with this vital experience and we have seen successful internal progression into Sales and Customer Service roles, among others. Plus, an added benefit in this role is that you don't work nights or weekends, and we are closed for Christmas adding to a great work-life balance. WELL DONE! Andrew Duffield, who works in our Derby Branch, along with Alison Shipp undertook a bike ride from our Derby branch to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Thanks to Andy Docherty for driving the support vehicle! Andrew had open heart surgery a year ago and this was to raise funds and awareness for heart diseases. Our Cromwell family has been affected by sudden losses recently, so this was a memorial ride for those people as well. Over £1700 has been raised for the British Heart Foundation and donations are still coming in. Our people make Cromwell what it is and we are so proud of all of our colleagues who are making a difference to their communities, customers and charities.
