  • We are seeking an Assistant Commissioning Officer to join our Children’s Commissioning team. You’ll be part of a team delivering commissioning intentions as identified in the team plan. This will involve analysis of resident’s needs and performance by service providers, planning and contributing to the effective contracting and procurement processes used by the team. You will assist in ensuring that all contracts are robustly managed to ensure that they are performing in accordance with the contractual obligations and are delivering outcomes for children and families, and value for money. You will be able to accurately manage the input, output and presentation of data. You will plan, note and support contract meetings. The purpose of this role is to manage interim and temporary accommodated residents in arranging to move in and out of accommodation.   • We are seeking an Adult Skills Analyst to contribute to the successful delivery of the devolved Adult Skills Fund (ASF) to Cornwall Council. The key areas of work are: 1. Development of Adult Skills Fund data systems and practices within the Council to properly and accurately process and analyse data relating to Adult Education delivery to residents. 2. Analysis of data relating to ASF funded provision delivered to residents in Cornwall. 3. Analysis of employment and skills data to underpin and inform the Council's approach to ASF contributing to the production of high-quality drafts of major Council strategies, plans and reports.   • The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Team work closely with colleagues from the NHS when children and young people are on assessment pathways as well as a wide range of other professionals. We provide technical support for those who have high-tech devices in schools/settings and training for the people who live with and work around them. The training we deliver is usually bespoke and matches the needs of individuals, however, we also deliver on broader communication topics such as Communicating with Symbols alongside colleagues from other teams. We are looking for a Lead Advisor. You will be an integral part of the SEND Support Service being involved in the delivery of county-wide training on SEND matters and will also be involved in some strategic work such as the Post Inspection Action Groups.
