Anyone of a certain vintage remembers precisely where they were and who they were with on New Year’s Eve 1999, as they celebrated the new millennium.   Many will wonder where the past 25 years have gone. Many more will wish they did more to provide for their futures during that time.   At Continuum, it’s our mission to help as many people as possible enjoy the best lives they can, so we thought we’d take a look at what saving a manageable sum regularly since the start of the millennium might look like today. National IFA firm Continuum recorded a 26% year-on-year increase in assets under influence to £2.35bn for the quarter ended 30 September. Continuum's annualised turnover projection increased by 21% year-on-year, which they said reflected the "continuing growth and future potential for the business which has the goal of becoming a household brand in the near future". Continuum managing partner Martin Brown said: "Our surveys have shown that trust remains the key factor in driving new clients when it comes to choosing a financial adviser, with people actively seeking an adviser and a brand they can rely on.
