  • Data is a crucial component of education and training, enabling both educators and learners to track progress and optimise the learning experience. Our collaboration with the British Army illustrates how this works in practice. 🎥🎥 Check out this video clip to see how effective data collection enhances recruits' initial training experiences.

  • Competence supports learners across diverse educational and coaching settings. Our collaboration with the British Army showcased one of its key strengths: flexibility. Army Recruits and their corresponding Training teams used it to help them progress through journey of Basic Training. 🎥 Check out the first in a series of video clips highlighting the work we carried out with them.⏩

  • Sounds like this day went really well, with some really touching moments among it all! This is why we're so proud of our work locally as Wigan Warriors College, operating shoulder to shoulder with Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club. Thanks so much for the positive feedback Lloyd Kingston, it's very much appreciated...

Team Manager at Ingeus (Work and Health Program) - Rochdale

It’s a bumper edition of your daily GM HIP Programme update. We know you love seeing these…….. enjoy. Day 2 of the GM HIP Programme (Wigan Edition) - Physical Health Day. Who better to host such a day was than the greatest Rugby League Team up North/World Wigan Warriors College Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club. Controversial statement for some in the north but I’m officially a fan. A special and heartfelt thank you to Mike Ward and Tom Schmechel. I genuinely mean the day was a whopping success. The activities, information/content, session planning and more importantly - the underlying message of the day was spot on guys. One thing I remarked on to my colleagues is that the message/content was carried out throughout all the days activities which was superb!!! Activities included: The benefits of Health and Fitness and Employment roles. Leadership Games & Team Tasks Teambuilding Activities. Health, Fitness, Ruby based. – Studio / Track / Outdoors Communication in Sport. Multi Sports tasks and Games. Guidelines for recommended exercise and healthy eating. Courses/Opportunities available through Wigan Warriors College Touching and humbling moments witnessed today. Withdrawn, reserved, shy and anxious individuals putting themselves in uncomfortable situations both in a classroom environment as well as physically. Pushing themselves, progressing themselves forward no matter how big the “win”. Sir David Brailsford spoke extensively of “marginal gains” when Team Sky conquered cycling. All these small “wins” contribute to achieving success, goals and outcomes!!!! Awesome to be apart of, all the while being encouraged by the brilliant staff Mike Ward and Tom Schmechel. A special guest from our Performance and Delivery Manager Becky Kerr who got involved in every aspect and was great having little chats and convo’s with our 14 HIPsters. Thank you To JESSICA ANDREWS - you were fab, thank you for supporting and being brilliant in sharing your knowledge and expertise with the group. Smashed it!!!!! Tomorrow we look forward to Day 3 on GM HIP focussing on Mental Health with Nonad Rangers. Jenny Metcalfe Michelle Corsair. Such an incredible use of the Community Investment Fund Donna Mitchell. Both for providers, participants, charities and the like!!!
