This month is #Movember and today is #InternationalMensDay so to mark the occasion, a number of activities have been planned. Through these celebrations, we hope to promote conversations about men and masculinity and make a positive difference to the wellbeing of men and boys. Later this week, Close Brothers will be hosting a panel discussion and ‘facts and snacks’ session where the focus is on how the expectations for men have changed over time and generations. Then next Wednesday, here at #CloseBrothersMotorFinance specifically, we’ll be joined by #ANDYSMANCLUB; a men’s suicide prevention and mental health charity. They’ll be talking to colleagues about the free support they provide online and via help groups located across the UK. To challenge stereotypes and showcase the diversity, authenticity, and humour of modern masculinity, a number of our male colleagues have kindly shared statements about what it means to be a man today. Colleagues from around the business and our fantastic dealer and broker partners, will once again be supporting #MissionChristmas; the toy appeal led by the charity Cash for Kids. The important campaign ensures that disadvantaged children and adolescents around the UK have presents to open on Christmas Day. 🎄🎁 Like previous years, presents can be dropped off at our partner hubs via our account managers, or delivered directly to our Head Office in Doncaster. Taking the SAF Expert test? ✅ Here's what to expect 👇 When you take the SAF Expert test, you'll have 60 minutes to answer 60 multiple-choice questions. To pass and earn your SAF Expert certificate, you’ll need a score of 75% or higher. In case you don't pass on your first attempt, don't worry!
