An estimated 1.3 billion people globally are expected to live with a disability. Join us as we celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities! International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is a globally recognized observance dedicated to promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. This day highlights the importance of inclusivity, accessibility, and equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities, while also celebrating their achievements and contributions to society. It is also estimated that only just over half (53.0%) of all people of working age with a disability were employed, compared with 81.6% of those without a disability.
