A local community & lifestyle magazine supporting Lichfield with a monthly distribution of 16,000.
About us
Citylife in Lichfield (and its sister publication, Citylife in Rugeley & Cannock Chase) are the leading local monthly magazines in the area, with a distribution of more than 25,000, which are hand-delivered to people's homes using a dedicated distributor. We are not simply a lifestyle publication… we are so much more than that. We have the aspirational focus of the ‘glossies’ but we are also realistic, community-spirited and dedicated to supporting business and organisations in the local area. This is why our magazines are filled with local history features, lifestyle articles, events, news and competitions, and are truly unique, offering an uplifting, feel good read, suitable for people of all ages. Now in its fourth year, Citylife has a very loyal and responsive readership. Our large circulation, as well as the hand-delivery aspect of each copy, leads to excellent results for our advertisers. We believe that this makes us unrivalled in the area in terms of reach, circulation and advertiser response. Appearance-wise, the magazine itself is a quarto-sized publication (just short of A4), with a matt silk cover, which makes it unique amongst other publications of its nature and underpins our core ethos of ‘standing out from the crowd.’ Our advertisers repeatedly report excellent results from appearing in the Citylife publications. In addition to our 29,000 hand-delivered magazines, we also have around 9,000 online readers and a strong following on social media channels, which we also use to promote our advertisers.

October 10th is World Mental Health Day and in the September issue of Citylife in Lichfield Ltd you can read an article by expert Sheila McMahon on why it's important to talk about the particularly taboo subject of suicide. #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealth #suicide #itsgoodtotalk #mentalwellbeing
“There is so much to learn about why people feel suicidal and take their own life. "In my private practice I deal with suicidal thoughts and intent all the time. I really believe that: “‘Most people don’t want to die, it’s that they don’t know how to live,’” – Sheila McMahon. This is an extract from Sheila’s latest article that she has penned for Citylife in Lichfield Ltd's September magazine which is out now. It’s based on the topic of suicide prevention ahead of her new Mental Health Show which will be on the same topic at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre on Saturday October 5, at 7.45pm. While Sheila would urge you to read the article to get a flavour of what to expect from the show, in its she also adds: “Most people don’t want to talk about suicide, which is totally understandable. “The difficulty is that the more we don’t talk about suicide, the more it will keep happening.” Sheila understands how talking about suicide is uncomfortable, but she would encourage you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable because by talking about it together we can make a difference. The show, as in previous years, is expected to be a sell-out. Book your tickets now at: https://lnkd.in/eM5RXMmR You can also get a flavour of what to expect from Sheila’s show on her YouTube Channel @SheilasYouTubeChannel, and TikTok platform @sheilatalksmentalhealth. In the meantime, Sheila would like to say a huge thanks to team at Citylife, including Krissy Lackajis, for supporting her show and her ongoing suicide prevention work. #citylifelichfield #lichfield #lichfieldcity #suicide #suicideprevention #conversationsthatmatter #conversationsforchange #breakthestigma #stopthestigma #letstalkaboutmentalhealth #letstalkmentalhealth #livetheatrte #liveshow #theatreshow #suicidal #suicidalthoughts #anxiety #depression #staffordshire #midlands #whatsonstaffordshire #whatsonlichfield #whatson #mentalhealth #mentalhealtheducation
