The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult was established as an independent centre of excellence to advance the growth of the UK cell and gene therapy industry, by bridging the gap between scientific research and full-scale commercialisation. With more than 300 employees focusing on cell and gene therapy technologies, it works with partners in academia and industry to ensure these life-changing therapies can be developed for use in health services throughout the world. It offers leading-edge capability, technology and innovation to enable companies to take products into clinical trials and provide clinical, process development, manufacturing, regulatory, health economics and market access expertise. We are very excited to announce that the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult has been shortlisted as a national finalist for the category 'Employer Champion of the Year' at the Apprenticeship and Training Awards 2025. https://ow.ly/vxk650UssqZ This recognition highlights the incredible impact of the Advanced Therapies Apprenticeship Community (ATAC). Coordinated by CGT Catapult, ATAC was the first apprenticeship programme designed to train and upskill individuals in developing, manufacturing, and delivering advanced therapies at scale. To date, ATAC has supported 375 apprentices, with 32 placed at CGT Catapult and the remainder spread across 59 employers. Wish us luck! #ATCAwards
