CEdMA Enterprise - the first six months Here’s what’s happened in the first six months of CEdMA Enterprise in its transformation from CEdMA Europe. Website The new website https://lnkd.in/ekE_4K-T was launched to members on 21st Jan. Membership We have grown to 850 individuals within 47 member companies. We are delighted to welcome new members NetApp and OneStream Software. OneStream made an immediate impact by winning the 2024 Impact Award. Conference 99 individuals from 41 member companies attended the spring conference at Heathrow on 22nd-24th Apr. Six companies were unable to join us. Seven sponsors with 11 staff plus organisers brought the total to 115. Attendee satisfaction was high, with a score of 4.8 (out of 5.0) for the conference overall, 4.7 for the conference materials and 4.7 for the conference facility. Workshops We ran a three-hour virtual workshop on 13th Feb on “Innovations by CEdMA Enterprise Members in 2023” with presentations from SS&C Blue Prism, Infor, Dell Technologies and ServiceNow. 68 members registered of whom 39 attended for an average of 112 minutes. Surveys Our Business Metrics survey ran in 2021 so it’s long overdue from its usual biennial schedule. It will be sent out shortly in Jul with a return date of mid-Oct giving time for Dirk Braune to prepare another excitingly themed presentation for the autumn conference. At the same time, the output files will be available on the website to allow filtering of the data. The other flagship survey, Pricing and Discounting, will run in 2025. To recognise new sections and new products, especially AI, the Techstack survey will be updated and run in Sep. The successful Pulse of the Industry survey replaced the Market Barometer and precedes each conference to give members a view on how our industry is doing. It will run in Oct. SIGs SIG meetings have been slow to start but are now picking up in the second half-year. Nine meetings ran with an average of 28 people registered but only 11 attended, a mere 39%. We must find a way to increase attendance. Newsletters Newsletters have been sent out in the last few days of each month. Certified Technical Training Manager (CTTM) We are in the process of updating both the emphasis and content. To bring it more into the mainstream it will be accessed from within the website to allow easier access for members. We anticipate that these changes will be phased in during Sep-Dec.
