📢 CDP and GRI are deepening their collaboration, following an agreement signed by Sherry Madera and Cristina Gil White at #COP29 in Baku. Through their continued partnership, CDP and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) will work together to build capacity and streamline disclosure for companies, boost access to comparable data and ensure environmental reporting reflects the highest ambition. The first Global Stocktake at #COP28 concluded with a historic agreement to transition away from fossil fuels. Supply chain environmental impacts are significantly larger than the direct impacts of a company. But companies are 2x more likely to tackle their operational costs.   Last year, engagement from Supply Chain Members drove 43 million tonnes of emission reduction initiatives in 2023 alone and over 5,500 suppliers are suggesting ideas to their buyers through CDP’s Supply Chain Program.
