We are deeply disappointed that in yesterday’s House of Commons debate amendments which would have exempted social care providers from the eNICs rise were not passed. Details here: tinyurl.com/4fu9xf6y We wrote to MPs ahead of the debate explaining that the eNICs policy will result in an estimated £30m loss for social providers in Scotland.👇 Read our message to MPs here: https://bit.ly/49Mxyuc

This week, staff at our main office have been coming together for some briefing sessions. These have been a great opportunity to talk about some of the issues affecting social care just now. And as part of these we shared CCPS - COALITION OF CARE AND SUPPORT PROVIDERS IN SCOTLAND's #MoreThanWarmWords campaign. They were keen to show their support for our colleagues who are working in direct support roles, and were 100% behind the campaign messaging. They hope that the mugs give our MSPs some food, or tea, for thought.
