Congratulations again to Paul Brittain on starting this new role. Part of the Turner Price family for more than 20 years, Paul will continue to be a huge asset to the business, as former MD, John Gould, moves into an advisory role. Get to know George Baxter, National Operational Support Manager, CFBG. Featured in the Tastemakers section of our latest Infuse magazine, George's role is quite unique in that he moves around, spending quality time with different businesses within the Group. Read his full interview online to find out more: https://lnkd.in/e_2HVHbM Here's a snippet of the interview: What’s a typical day like? My days are so varied, which is what I need to keep my brain ticking. I am part of the QNetex project team and I’m currently at Caterfood SW collecting data when I can, but while I’m on site I help wherever needed. That may mean jumping on a forklift, getting in a van to deliver, or helping cover a department in operations while a manager is off, but I love it.

On behalf of everyone at CFBG, we would like to say that last week's Winter Conference and Awards would not have been possible without the incredible Naomi Fudge and Rebekah Meyler! Thank you both for all of the mind-blowing organisation that goes into getting 260 people together for these all-important two days of business updates, networking and meetings with 50 different suppliers. The glittering Las Vegas themed awards evening, where 11 CFBG Awards were presented, will also be hard to beat next year - but we know you're up to the challenge. ❤️👏 Photo with Andrew Selley and Philip Atyeo.

What a remarkable week we've had at The Caterfood Buying Group. 🧡 Our annual Winter Conference has come to a close, with over 260 people in attendance. Held over two days, our Members’ delegates and our Suppliers loved the 'speed dating' format. Many attendees found the quick and casual atmosphere conducive for networking in addition to discovering the new brands being made available to the Group and leaning about New Product Development from those we have established relationships with. A sincere “thank you” to all our suppliers who attend and support this yearly event and who make these experiences so enjoyable. We are always so inspired by the amazing products and practical support that you have to offer for our Members. We are looking forward to seeing all these new products on our customer’s menus in the very near future. The experience wasn’t all business. We also like to treat our suppliers to an evening’s hospitality and entertainment too with the Caterfood Buying Group Awards being held in the evening – more details on that coming very soon. We will be counting down the days until next year!
