🚗🧠 Autonomous Vehicles 🧠🚗 They sound pretty cool, but how many people would actually take a ride in a self-driving car? 📉60% of the people we surveyed said  “no thanks” to being a passenger in an autonomous vehicle, while 19% were still undecided. Only 21% were on board with the idea. 💡 And when it comes to road safety? Only 24% believe AVs will make our streets safer, while 44% think they won’t make a difference. Self-driving cars still feel like a bit of a novelty. However, they’re not quite the far-off thought they once were and with companies like Tesla recently launching their new robotaxi, they may be a reality sooner than we think. 🔋⚡ Introducing our very first Impact Report ⚡🔋 Carwow has today released details of its inaugural Impact Report, which shares our progress towards our Environmental, Social and Governance commitments. These are centred around helping consumers make more sustainable car choices. Our strategy focuses on four key areas: building consumer confidence in the car industry, supporting the shift to low-emission vehicles, increasing diversity and inclusion across automotive, and modelling best practice for others to follow. The Impact Report outlines how we are aiming to inspire our customers and partners to accelerate the transition to automotive sustainability. Central to the mission is building trust in new forms of Mobility. In 2023 our platform generated nearly three million EV-specific configurations and enquiries. With all that said, this report should be regarded as our opening lap. We are only just getting started 📈. #ESG

The campaign is centred around the insight that ‘car-changing is life-changing’. In fact, 84% of Carwow customers say a car has changed their life. Here are some of the ways our customers said car-changing was life-changing: 🤠 57% say it gives them more freedom 🥱 50% say it’s made their lives easier 🥹 38% say their car brings them joy 🧐 19% say their car makes them feel successful Car-change? Paris Motor Show is back for its 90th edition 🌟   If you couldn’t make it, panic not. We have feet on the ground from across the Carwow Group bringing you the biggest takeaways so far:   🔥 New brands are coming in hot 🔥 Though the home French manufacturers, and some others, took good-sized stands in Paris, there are plenty of brands using this year’s biggest European motor show to try and raise their profile, most notably, a long list of Chinese brands. 🔋 Say hello to more affordable EVs…🔋 There is a lot of talk in Paris about how different manufacturers are addressing the need to create smaller and less expensive electric cars. Different brands are taking different approaches. While some are developing entirely new designs for EVs, others are creating different versions of existing models.   ⛽ … But don’t wave goodbye to petrol just yet ⛽ The long-term view is still that EVs are where we will end up, it’s just taking a bit longer than expected. A number of brands now maintain that their main models will still be available with internal combustion engines for a while. #ParisMotorShow
