Will it sequence? Synthetic DNA. Our VP of R&D James Richardson teamed up with Illumina's Ilaria Grizzi for this interesting episode of the The Naked Scientists, Naked Genetics podcast. Together they ran an interesting experiment and talked through the world of synthetic DNA. Today, part of our team stepped out of the office and labs to volunteer with Cambridge City Council. We spent the day helping maintain Byron Square in Trumpington. The council is reducing its use of weedkillers in a drive to increase biodiversity. Therefore, they need volunteers to help maintain these green spaces and parks. And we got lucky with the weather. 😎

The race is supporting Magpas Air Ambulance, which provides emergency medical treatment across the East of England. Since its foundation in 1971, Magpas Air Ambulance has treated over 70,000 patients. There is JustGiving donation page is below.
