About us
Business in Focus is a social enterprise that exists to support the growth of enterprise and the economy of Wales. We do this through delivery both directly to entrepreneurs and SMEs, and via business support contracts for clients including UK and Welsh governments, public sector bodies and not-for-profit organisations. When our major contracting clients entrust their business support service to us, they do so knowing we will quickly develop an in-depth understanding of how they work, what they need and when they need it. Our client focus has been acquired over 30 years, delivering robust, compliant results. We provide business owners and managers with access to finance, mentoring and business accommodation. Our commitment to equality and diversity is at the heart of our service and mission; we aim to bring out the enterprise in everyone! The Right Resources Our client-facing team is made up of dedicated professionals with up-to-date, relevant experience and knowledge of the business landscape in Wales and vital issues, such as financial planning, employing staff, sales and marketing. Our first class support teams ensure the smooth flow of information when our clients need it; that our diverse stakeholder groups understand the services we provide and how we can help achieve their objectives; and allow our tenants to carry out their business in a safe, comfortable environment. We have a wide network of contacts in public, private and third sectors, enabling us to source the right partners for every opportunity and each client we work with. This lovey bunch can mean only one thing. It’s the Abercynon leg of the Business in Focus Wales roadshow. A great catch-up in snowy Navigation Park. I even wore a tie for the occasion! Lots of fun chat including the history of the old colliery on this site, holidays, when to put Christmas decorations up, the 20mph speed limit and the names we give our cars. You all name your cars, right? Anyway, we got to the naming of Jen’s car. You see, Jen’s car is a Ford Puma. So we needed something starting with a ‘P’. We’ve gone with ‘Percy’. On balance, a good choice, I think. Next stop, Llandrindod Wells, next week! #making #hybrid #business #work
